PICKLED SPRUCE TIPS

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g young spruce tips, washed and dried

  • 500ml water

  • 250ml apple cider vinegar

  • 50g salt

METHOD

  1. Add the water, vinegar and salt in a pan, gently heat until the sugar has completely dissolved. 

  2. Add the spruce tips to a sterilised jar and top with the hot pickling liqueur and seal. Store in a cool and dark place, these can be used immediately and will keep for up to 1 year.
