FIR SALT

10 minutes, plus 2 hours drying

INGREDIENTS

  • 50g salt

  • 50g douglas fir needles, washed and dried

METHOD

  1. Blend the salt and fir needles until well combined. 

  2. Lay out in a baking sheet and allow to dry for 2 hours

  3. Blend the salt and fir mixture again to a finer powder, this can also be done in a pestle and mortar

  4. Pass through a fine sieve and refrigerate.
